And this is how the fall went with caution to the wind
head first    mouth agape
spread open on an electric field
and the sun blazed on
defiant to the changing of seasons
blood moon eclipse
on the rise

hallow's eve a shimmering
searchlight

extinguished

candles always flicker

a full thanksgiving moon
teetered like a heavy ship out at sea
all crammed up and predicting a storm

the solstice    a zephyr
a breath from my ancestors
full of
labrynths and fire

new moon in aquarius
and I summon the
pureness and tranquility of snow
the cycle of seasons
drawing the same breath of Redwoods
i give thanks
in awe of the balance
always shifting
